Fynbos

I am interested in the presence of the artwork in the form of the wood surface, the copper sheet, the textures and the colours, and the tension between this and the illusion of fynbos, fire and the Cape landscape. Chance and accident are essential to my working process because they enrich the repertoire and allow space for less conscious decision making.
