Again the title is an extract from our old national anthem and it’s a play on the blue bowl and the heavens as the domain of birds.
I have an affinity for porcelain and its characteristics of fragility and beauty translates to this tiny little sunbird which is endemic to the fynbos biome of the Western Cape.
