Ficinia radiata flowers from September to December and grows in my area. I’m always delighted to find them, as this sedge truly is a ‘Star grass’. I collect just a couple at the beginning of the season for printing which is quite tricky, but when successful, delight in their detail. I have hand coloured this print with coloured pencil.
