Inspired by the the frequencies of colour, I set out to create a gradient, inspired by a landscape, without blending pigments.I followed the technique of impressionism – using strategic colours in sequence to create the illusion of blending.r

The ink was applied using hand carved pens making the marks truly original and one of a kind as there are no other tools like these. The final piece can be viewed as a whole from a distance, but on closer inspection there are little surprises of colour accents to break the monotony of the lines.
