Omvou in groen en blou

This artwork depicts an abstract coastal landscape. Green and blue ink was used to portray a delicate embrace between the greenery of coastal fynbos and the blue of the ocean and the windswept sky. The loose and expressive mark-making achieved by the monotype further evokes emotion and a sense of freedom achieved by the windblown streaks of blue sky.
