Nurture

This artwork forms part of a series of cyanotypes inspired by nature. The series draws parallels between the act of gardening, self-growth and the process of making art. I used digital negatives and indigenous leaves and flowers picked from my garden for this cyanotype. The title “Nurture” means to take care of, tend or protect. Similar to meticulously looking after a garden by watering and tending to it, one must not forget to nurture and be kind to oneself.
