Contained

It’s astonishing just how many seaweed specimens there are when you really look. ‘Contained’ is a collection of seaweed monoprints made from physical specimens picked up over time and used to print on tissue paper. The paper is formed in the shape of this vessel which, in turn, was inspired by the sea anemones I sometime see in rock pools along the shore.
